Got questions about the basics of your Facebook page? We have answers!
Why can’t I just use a personal account?
It may seem easier to just run your business on your personal account. However, this it is against Facebook Terms to use your personal account to represent something other than yourself. That means you aren’t allowed to represent your business. If you don’t follow this rule, you could permanently loose access to your account. That’s why it’s very important to create a separate page for your business. What if I don’t use Facebook?
In order for your business to have a Facebook page, it must be created and moderated by at least one personal Facebook account. Even if you don’t use Facebook yourself, you’ll need to set up a personal account first before you can create and manage your business page.
