WordPress website for Wichita-area retail shop that supports the Great Expectations program

There is a program right here in the Wichita area to help make some dreams come true. As proud partners of the Greater Expectations program and the real-world training program at Autism Avenue, we would like to announce the launch of Autism Avenue’s new website!

At its core, Autism Avenue Flower and Gift Shoppe is a training ground for individuals seeking real work experience to help them practice and develop the skills needed for meaningful employment. With a foundation of support through the Greater Expectations program, all employees are expected to master each level of the program before being considered for employment at Autism Avenue.

Website + Design

Autism Avenue Old Website Autism Avenue New Website

The design for this site started as a competition between our two developers. When designing, we knew we had to mix the need for a functional website intended to be the foundation for fundraising and awareness with a fun design. The client equally loved separate parts from each design. So, we decided to combine the two. The result is a beautiful combination of both of their ideas.

The finished website was built on the WordPress framework which will make it easy to change as grow as the shoppe and program evolves. We have implemented vibrant colors throughout and made the process of donating to help support Greater Expectations a breeze.

Ongoing Marketing Support

Ongoing Marketing Support

As part of our contract with the Independent Living Resource Center (ILRC), we provide additional marketing assistance each month for Autism Avenue that includes social media assistance, Facebook management, graphic design assistance, collateral materials, technical support and copywriting services as needed. We are available throughout the month when they need us to ensure that their marketing needs are met.

This ongoing support included creating video brochures that can be used to promote the program to potential donors or participants. The brochure features ILRC’s branding, but includes the logos for Autism Avenue and Greater Expectations so it can easily be used for a wide variety of programs, services and events.
