The owners of what would later become Viva La Olive approached us with just an idea and dream in July of 2022. Kim, Cindy & Diane had gone on a vacation to Ohio, visited an olive oil store, and realized there was nothing in Wichita like it. They decided to open a similar store and hadn’t chosen a name for it, but had an idea for the perfect location in Wichita.

In addition to a name, the new project would require logo creation, branding, website design, social media management, and paid advertising – all within just a few months time for the store to open in October of 2022.

Our team is used to building websites from scratch in several months, but an entire brand? Viva La Olive would require every aspect of our digital marketing services to build awareness in just a few months time. We gladly accepted the challenge to dig in & grow Viva La Olive’s awareness in Wichita!

Web Design

We built the new Viva La Olive website on a custom WordPress platform and implemented the following web development & web design elements:

  • Mobile responsive styling so the website adjusts to look great on any screen size
  • Ecommerce that syncs the new website to Clover for inventory & payment processing
  • Scalable to add future functionality as needed to the site
  • User-friendly for visitors to easily navigate & purchase products, and easy for staff to update products, descriptions & prices on the backend
  • Content & SEO featuring optimized content & images to help drive traffic organically in online searches

Once we understood the goals & vision for Viva La Olive, our graphic designer created initial sketches, which were eventually transformed into the perfect new logo (see below)!

  • Depicts the ethos of their brand of old world, high end, classy, and friendly
  • Integrates seamlessly between the website, bottle printing, product packaging, signage, social media graphics, emails, and more
  • Vivid color palette that drives home the olive tones but accentuates with a brighter green, a warm cream tone, and an inviting wine color

Our marketing team got to work in July of 2022 to create brand awareness from scratch in a time crunch! We used a variety of our digital marketing services with a goal to get attendance at the store’s Grand Opening in October 2022.

  • Social media management – Created and managed Facebook & Instagram accounts (photography, graphic design, posting, monitoring & responding to audience)
  • Reputation management – Created and managed new Google Business and Yelp listings (posted, monitored & responded to reviews, updated store information)
  • Paid advertising – Created and optimized ads for Grand Opening and holiday sales
  • Email marketing – Created account and grew contacts to 200+ in less than two months, designed email campaigns
