The Rose Hill Recreation Commission (RHRC) is an organization that enhances the quality of life in Rose Hill, KS & USD 394 by providing a comprehensive, affordable recreation & leisure program for all ages. We helped them build a custom WordPress website that is flexible and easy for their staff to make updates to. In addition to being mobile-friendly and responsive, it also integrates with the API for their events management system, ActiveNet, to display real-time information about upcoming activities and programs.

I am very excited about the new RHRC website. For years, we have had various homemade versions of the website that kept getting better over time, but lacked professional polish. Maintenance and content upkeep was haphazard and challenging. With the new site, parents will be able to quickly find programs that specifically interest their families, seamlessly routing them to the online registration system. We love the new layout!

The Challenge
When RHRC first came to us, they were using a site builder that made even the smallest update to the site a chore for their staff. We knew they needed a new website that reflected their dedication to the community, was user-friendly, and highlighted any upcoming events. In addition, they were hoping to be able to connect the website directly to their events management system to make it easier for members of the community to find and register for upcoming programs and activities.
