ILRC

Independent Living Resource Center has been our client for so long that we recently redesigned the website we built years ago for the non-profit that provides resources to those with disabilities. In addition to ongoing social media management services we provide, ILRC was also ready for a brand refresh, including a new logo design. We’re thankful for our many years of partnership. See how we helped on this project!

We have received so many compliments about the new logo your team redesigned with the new colors, and bringing it up to date. The redesign of the website has received many compliments as well as being easier to maneuver through (with) more up-to-date information and easy to read. Classes have increased as persons who have gone to the website see the photos of the classes, arts and crafts, and cooking classes. Donations for our Medical Equipment Recycling Network have doubled in volume for persons with disabilities since the new website.

The Challenge
- “Independent Living” focus caused confusion as ILRC does not provide housing
- Two separate websites for ILRC and their Greater Expectations Autism Program
- Limited color palette
- Needed ADA compliance updates on website
- Outdated website design, content, and videos
- Stock photos not personable or engaging
- Provider map was on a static PDF & not user-friendly

Our Solutions

- Focused on “ILRC” abbreviation and incorporated mission into a tagline
- Kept their original icon but broadened color palette and included warmer colors to feel more human-centric
- Print Materials Update—brochures, business cards, letterhead, envelopes & more
- Combined ILRC’s 2 websites into one cohesive unit
- ADA compliance upgrades on website, more user-friendly for disabled visitors
- Consolidated navigation with simplified content
- New website features engaging videos and photos of staff and consumers
- Digitized list of available providers throughout Kansas with an interactive map
