Marketing Support Specialist (part-time)

We’re excited to welcome a creative, proactive Marketing Support Specialist to our team in a part-time position! This role helps support our social media and marketing efforts through:

  • Creating and scheduling content
  • Monitoring performance
  • Researching trends
  • Crafting graphics and video as needed
  • Contributing ideas for campaigns

You’ll also have opportunities to work directly with clients and help find ways to grow their marketing efforts, including promoting video services. This role is a great fit for a student, marketing intern, or early-career marketer who enjoys hands-on work, excels in a fast-paced environment, wants experience across a variety of marketing projects, and has fun while they do it!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with writing, creating, and scheduling organic social media content for clients
  • Monitor DMs, comments, and reviews, responding in a professional and on-brand manner
  • Support LMG Marketing’s content ideation and execution efforts
  • Research marketing and social media trends
  • Crafting graphics/video as needed
  • Identify opportunities to offer additional marketing services to existing clients
  • Maintain organized marketing assets, files, and documentation
  • Assist with campaigns, client communication, meeting coordination, and reporting as needed

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, friendly demeanor when working with clients and team members
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow processes and manage multiple tasks
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and basic marketing tools
  • Familiarity with project management and office tools (Teamwork, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Knowledge of Canva, InDesign, or Illustrator a plus
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to escalate issues when needed
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of our team 
  • Cooperative, supportive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling client information and internal processes
  • Previous experience in a marketing or creative agency environment is a bonus
